Neeed Help from a Guru

I have created a successful form using formmail. I am trying to create a
"virtual estimating" for a web site, where customers send pictures of their
home etc.
However, does any one know how to attach photos successfully in formmail and
send it? I am using the "file field button" from the forms insert tab in
Dreamweaver 8. While testing, if I hit that button, the file seems to attach.
But when I hit the submit button, the form comes as normal to my e-mail but
without any photos attached. Off course checking the backend I dont see any
coding for uploading.  Anyone know how to successfully attach photos to a form?
Can Dreamweaver do it?:frown;

Sure - the real question is "can formmail do it?", and I don't think it can.

A file field will allow you to browse to and select a local file.  This path
is submitted to the processing page along with the rest of the form's data.
It's the processing page that does the heavy lifting, requesting that the
file be uploaded from the visitors computer, and then moving it to some
final destination on the server.  This requires server scripting, or it
could also be done with a Dreamweaver extension - Web Assist has a good one
called "Digital File Pro" but it's a commercial entity.  Using Google, you
can probably also find code that you could use instead, but you would have
to figure out how to replace the base functionality of formmail if you go
this route.

What server scripting does your host support (ASP, PHP, .Net, etc.)?

Take a look at Forms to Go. I use it all the time and aside from secure
forms handling it lets the user upload a file.

That might be just the ticket.
