Preserving effects when exporting to Dreamweaver

I created a navigation bar in Fireworks with some glow effects on the links
when the mouse hovers over them. I exported the file as Fireworks HTML and
imported it into the Dreamweaver document. The links all work and go where they
should but the glow effects don't work. What have I missed?

It isn't published yet. I'm only working on the homepage just yet. I'm a
graphic artist who became a web designer two weeks ago when my employer decided
to redo their site. So I'm very new to this. I have the page all laid out but
I've got these little things that don't work quite right. So it isn't anywhere
on the web yet.

That's exactly where I was a few years back. :-) How about sending me a
copy of your PNG file? <ligh@sc.rr.com>

Thanks for that, but it would seem that I must be doing something wrong when I
put it into the Dreamweaver document.
Your behaviors didn't work either. I'm just going to Insert>Image
Objects>Fireworks HTML and choosing the HTML file. What am I missing?

Did you export the document from Fireworks first? Is your sire defined
in Dreamweaver?

I exported the document from Fireworks as Dreamweaver HTML and if by defined you mean all my folders are located in the site folder then yes I believe my site is correctly defined.

My question was about how you inserted it into your Dreamweaver document.
