open the control panel. open the "Fonts" applet. go to file> install new fonts. browse to the fonts on your hard drive. select copy to windows fonts folder if you want (i always do). done.

be careful about adding "free" fonts off the web. some can be corrupted and can cause HAVOK on your system. don't add more than a dozen or so at a time, and test them (open ps and create a document using them) so you can tell which ones to back out if you have problems! if you install 1000 fonts at a pop and one is bad, you're going to spend the next week looking for the bad font!
