I am awaiting my CS3 upgrade from CS2 - Windows XP Home. I'm not sure how an upgrade works. Is it a completely new program, or does it depend on stuff that is already there with CS2?
The reason I'm asking is I'd like to put CS3 on a new computer, leaving my CS2 on my old computer. Is that possible?

You can install it on the new computer if you'd like but you'll need the
CS2 installer to verify eligibility.

Note: The EULA allows two concurrent activations with the stipulation
that only one machine is in use at a time and that you are the primary
user of both.
